On-demand full color business cards in just minutes can now be produced by any printer with the newest version of Xanté FastCards. The desktop-sized FastCards solution is an automated, integrated printing system that delivers high resolution, full-color prints on heavy stock – “while you wait”. FastCards combines the award-winning Xanté Ilumina full-color digital press, a flatbed scanner, and Xanté AdvancedScan scanning and imposition technology in an exclusive system designed specifically for rapid production of business cards (or similar) output.
This versatile integrated system, which now features an even faster, friendlier user interface, enables print shops to compete with the fastest turnaround and highest quality for business cards, postcards, table tent cards, banners, and more. From scanning to processing output, the typical card job takes only a few minutes, allowing shops to offer “while you wait” materials on stock up to 24 point.

Automated Software Handles the Job
FastCards automated software does all the work; allowing printers to easily and efficiently handle complex digital files, and configure them to suit a variety of production and bindery needs. In seconds, anyone can set up one-sided or two-sided, single-color or multi-color jobs (with or without bleeds) for a wide variety of stock sizes and weights. Sending digital files (.ps, .eps, .pdf, and .tiff files) directly to FastCards from networked Mac or Windows workstations is completely automated.
Plus, FastCards streamlines prepress production with provision for ganging the same job or multiple jobs together, applying independent quantities to each, and specifying the desired page size for output. FastCards automati-cally applies the correct step-and-repeat for the most efficient use of stock. With setup complete, users have the option to print a sample for review or customer approval.
