Toyo Ink America Specialty Products Improve Pressroom Convenience and Productivity

Tuesday 28. October 2008 - Finishing touches add superb value to printed materials, and Toyo Ink America (Booth #2411) will showcase innovative solutions and specialty tools at Graph Expo 2008 to make print jobs spectacular and printers' lives easier.

Booth visitors will see a diverse array of products designed for improved convenience and productivity at commercial, publishing, packaging and screen printing operations.
Color Management Tools
Among the many solutions that Toyo Ink America will highlight are three color management tools to help print buyers and printers avoid common design pitfalls and achieve endless creative possibilities.
The Toyo 1050 Color Finder provides color matches for all 1,050 Toyo Ink colors arranged on the Munsell scale in four compact, easy-to-handle books. Housed in a wooden storage box, the books feature perforated sheets for efficient handling and swatch removal. The Color Finder also offers an individual formula guidebook with color chips.
The Toyo Ink Color Chart shows thousands of color combinations. It features two-color and three-color charts, as well as light and solid black ink application charts. In addition, the Color Chart incorporates a color tone selector and an artificial color selection scale. Clear acetate inserts can be used to isolate colors, determine readability of white copy on color backgrounds and preview line widths in color.
Toyo Ink supplies a line of commercial sheetfed inks formulated to Pantone specifications. The Pantone Formula Guide set contains 1,114 colors on coated, uncoated and matte stock. The swatch books are identifiable by the Toyo Ink cover.
Printing Blankets

Booth visitors will have an opportunity to see TOYO KING series printing blankets for a range of offset printing needs. TOYO KING blankets are designed to last a long time and deliver peak performance run after run on sheetfed and web offset presses. The TOYO KING underlay system maintains consistent print height while adding compressibility where needed on the cylinder base.
Two-Side Tape Products
Toyo Ink’s double-coated and double-faced tape comes in 30 varieties and a range of thickness and flexibilities. Bonding uses include general purpose, high-performance, plastics, metals and electronics.
NNK Doctor Blades
SepaCera Sharp doctor blades operate durably and efficiently to ensure the highest quality that is expected from the printing process. They provide sharp, even contact with the cylinder surface and reduce the risk of blade streaking, chattering, hazing and fogging.
Ink Knives and Spatulas
In addition, booth visitors can see Toyo Ink’s line of plastic ink knives and spatulas. Made of nylon 6, the knives and spatulas are light and easy to use, will not scratch the ink foundation and stay clean from ink penetration.
Anti-Ink Hand Cleaner
Toyo Ink America also will feature its waterless Anti-Ink Hand Cleaner. These heavy-duty, multi-surface wipes clean up ink, paint, lubricants, wax, grease and adhesives. Fortified with emollient and natural oils, they will not crack or dry hands.
