Erhardt + Leimers TubeLight delivers ideal illumination for 100% Print Inspection
Tuesday 19. August 2008 - Erhardt + Leimer (E+L) leads the 100% inspection market with its latest illumination system - TubeLight. Providing totally diffused light for the NYSCAN system, its the only lighting system available that makes it possible to inspect printed webs with foil decoration, embossing, metalized substrates especially wine labels and other challenging features like holographic images.
Complimenting TubeLight is NYSCANs graphical user prompting. Setting new standards for 100% print inspection, E+Ls market leading method for job configuration boosts operator productivity by requiring just a few mouse clicks. Changes in inspection sensitivity can be made any time during production via simple slide controls. Even with superior operator-friendliness, inspection validation requirements and procedures remain uncompromised. Changes are logged to meet customers ever-higher quality standards.
E+L will also introduce a new color camera with higher resolution. The new camera technology is complementing the NYSCAN product line with another high end 100% defect detection system.
E+Ls NYSCAN product range is a complete workflow solution for the label and foil printing industries. Clients test rolls can be inspected in E+Ls application labs at the facilities in North America, and Europe.
