integration x of denmark wins large contract in norway
Wednesday 11. June 2008 - Integration X has signed a contract with A-Press Lokale Medier in Oslo, Norway regarding delivery of a workflow solution for management and production of ads. The contract covers all 52 titles published by A-Pressen all over Norway.
The solution has made it possible for A-Pressen to handle all digital ads automatically. “Through the entire process, from pickup of ready ads, through quality control and to integrated ad production, each ad can be tracked down to minute detail” says Tom Lekang, Director of Information and Communication technology at A-Pressen. He ads “Our ad production is spread out on production centers all over Norway, but with the solution from Integration X we how have full overview of the production. It saves us money and allows us to provide better service to our customers”.
The solution also merges ad bookings from 25 different ad databases, each serving one or more local newspapers. Tom Lekang explains: “Through the consolidation of all our order databases we have now given both sales- and production staff excellent tools to benefit from the synergy of ad packages as well as the flexibility of our production centers”.
Christian Wermuth, CEO of Integration X says about the contract with A-Pressen. “This agreement is a perfect example of how important flexibility and expandability is to our customers; A-Pressen has chosen a solution based on modern technology which has given wide possibilities of expansion. And through the customized solutions weve developed, they benefit from being able to interface existing systems to the new ad solution”.
Answering the question why Integration X was chosen as a vendor of the solution Tom Lekang says: “Integration X has supplied workflow systems to many large media companies in Scandinavia and abroad. This, combined with their knowledge about ad production, made us decide on them. Weve had a very close co-operation regarding development of customized modules and weve benefitted from local staff resources for both configuration and support”.
The solution, that currently covers 10 titles, is expected to be fully deployed on all titles and production centers by the end of 2008. At this time, the solution will incorporate integration to all 25 booking databases in Tieto Enator Cross-Advertising and Mactive AdBase, as well as interfaces for ad production in both Adobe InDesign and QuarkXpress.
