100% Print Inspection with Length Monitoring

Wednesday 14. May 2008 - Erhardt+Leimer will present new, innovative software functions for their time-tested Print Inspection System NYSCAN at DRUPA 2008.

For the first time it is now possible to monitor spaces. This new feature requires very little effort on the part of the operator; the target values for the spaces are simply entered via a graphic interface. It is further possible to monitor a multiple of these spaces as repeat length. Any direction of measurement can be defined, down web, cross web or a used-specified diagonal to the web. A patented calibration system from Erhardt+Leimer compensates inaccuracies due to distortions by the camera lens.

The inspection system is shown on the stand of various machine manufacturers and on the Erhardt+Leimer stand in hall 16 where it is running on a 660 mm inspection rewinder.
