Aftonbladet implements mobile advertising solution from TietoEnator

Thursday 08. May 2008 - Aftonbladet, the largest daily and online news portal in the Nordic region, is a pioneer also in mobile advertising. Aftonbladet recently started to use the TietoEnator Cross-advertising solution in its mobile portal mobil.aftonbladet.se, to manage their mobile advertising space sales and booking, to meet advertisers' needs to reach mobile phone users.

TietoEnator’s advertising management solution Cross-advertising has been used by Aftonbladet since the beginning of 2006 to manage advertising sales and bookings in both the printed edition and on Aftonbladet.se.

“We believe in strong growth in mobile advertising. Just recently, we started using Cross-advertising for booking ads also in this channel; in the same way we have been doing for banner advertising and Web TV for a long time. Using the same tool means ease of use and overview, independent of channel,” says Anders Berglund, Sales Manager at Aftonbladet New Media.

Cross-advertising is the leading solution on the market for dailies, which includes modules for selling, reserving and producing advertisements, dummy layout, invoicing, etc. The solution is used by more than 350 newspapers, free sheets and periodicals in Northern Europe.
