ABBYY Opens Fourteenth Annual DOCFLOW Conference and Expo 2008

May 2008 - ABBYY USA, a leading provider of recognition, data capture and linguistic software, today announced that the fourteenth annual DOCFLOW Conference and Exhibition, organized each year by ABBYY, will be taking place May 12 - 13, 2008 at the Business Center of the Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya Hotel in Moscow, Russia.
Over the past 14 years, DOCFLOW has become a major event in the field of enterprise content management (ECM). This year for the first time in its history, the conference will cover two days, allowing attendees more time to take part in the conference business program, and study the presented products and solutions.
DOCFLOW brings together the foremost providers of document and information management systems with equipment manufacturers from all over the world. A large portion of attendees are top directors and specialists representing government organizations and enterprises in the mining, oil, banking, finance, transport, trade and service industries. DOCFLOW 2008 will present leading-edge products and solutions for document management, records management, electronic archiving, enterprise resource planning (ERP), information security and document and data capture.
The conference will be supplemented by round-table discussions with leading industry experts. On May 12, experts will discuss the legal issues posed by electronic document management, and on May 13 the discussions will focus on the key trends and prospects within the document and data capture markets.
Among this year’s DOCFLOW participants will be industry authorities John Mancini, president of AIIM which unites 50,000 document management systems experts from 150 countries, and Harvey Spencer, founder and president of Harvey Spencer Associates, an analytical agency specializing in document and data capture software. On May 12, Mancini will deliver a talk exploring the current and potential future landscape of the global ECM market, while Spencer will present an in-depth analysis of the document capture market, and participate in the data and document capture round-table discussion. For the first time, round-table discussions will be broadcasting online at www.DOCFLOW.ru.
