New York Sun Daily Newspaper Chooses WoodWing
Tuesday 22. April 2008 - When the New York Sun launched in 2002, it became the first new general-interest newspaper in the city in two generations and has since grown to an online and print readership of more than one million.
With a motto of “It Shines For All,” the New York Sun is known for its aggressive news coverage, thought-provoking editorials and in-depth coverage of arts, entertainment and sports.

The design of the New York Sun website was taken care of by Danilo Black. The WoodWing editorial content management system has been used in conjunction with Drupal, an open-source web application framework, as the publishing platform.
The New York Sun reaches its audience through a mix of paid and free circulation, along with its vibrant Web site, and in just six years, the publication has made its mark in one of the most competitive journalism markets in the world. The critics have taken note, as well, with Adweek columnist Tom Messner calling the Sun, “the best paper in New York.”
