ReadSoft Asia closes its first major deal worth 420,000
Monday 07. April 2008 - One of the larger corporations in South East Asia is investing in electronic invoice processing from ReadSoft. The agreement covers the processing of 400,000 invoices annually. The ReadSoft solution will automatically process the invoices received and integrate with the installed SAP system. The value of the agreement is 420,000 EUR.
Due to competitive markets ReadSoft is not granted permission to mention the name of this new customer, a Fortune 500 company with a globally leading position. The agreement covers a world-wide rollout of the solution from ReadSoft and its partner over the next 12 months.
Having run a SAP business system for some years, this customer wanted to further improve its accounts payable processes by extending its financial system to also automatically read and process supplier invoices. After making an overall analysis, the company selected ReadSoft as their vendor of choice for two main reasons: the software’s proven stability and ReadSoft’s effective integration into SAP. ReadSoft’s solution offers significant business value, allowing the company to make better use of its employees, ensure higher-quality information and improve security. When the system is fully up and running the customer will be able to receive electronic invoice images for approval, rather than paper invoices.
“We are very happy about this deal since it is the first major order for our newly established Asian subsidiary. The deal also adds another valuable reference to our list of SAP clients and will be an important reference customer for us in this region,” says Jan Andersson, President and CEO of ReadSoft.
