Monday 07. April 2008 - Fujifilm announces today that its environmental roadshow was a great success with attendance figures from printers all over the UK very high. Taking place in February, the roadshow travelled to Bristol, Birmingham, Newcastle and London and featured speakers from Envirowise, WRAP, Print & Media Certification and Vision in Print.

After attending the London roadshow, Nick Brisley, Director at Geerings Print Limited says: “I found the roadshow to be a very useful and thought-provoking day and the presentations were very informative. We already use Fuji’s processless PRO-T plates but I have certainly taken on board some of the other issues raised to improve our carbon footprint and environmental credentials.”

Graham Leeson, marketing manager at Fujifilm Graphic Systems, says: “We were very pleased with the uptake of the roadshow. They provided a forum for like-minded printers to discuss opinions and share ideas on a range of eco topics. In a survey we have carried out since the roadshow finished, 93 per cent of attendees rated the conferences either good or very good and thought that they were extremely good value for money.”
