Pack&Gift, the first and only exhibition for event-based and promotional packaging
Monday 17. March 2008 - Pack&Gift, the first annual rendez-vous dedicated to event-based and promotional packaging
The Idice company (ETAI group), specialist in trade fairs, is inviting marketing and promotion managers to meet participants likely to work with them on the creation of their promotional offers.
Winning the consumer’s attention at the approach of the different holiday dates that punctuate our calendar, highlighting a major event within a company (anniversary, launch) or simply creating a new dynamic around a product¡K Event-based packaging is producing more and more emulators within the brand names, bringing a breath of fresh air to sales.
However, this tool which is seeing exponential growth requires an approach that is both creative and technical, two real areas of expertise that need to be entrusted to qualified and recognised professionals.
Idice, specialist in the organisation of trade fairs on the packaging industry ¡V whom we have to thank in particular for the creation and development of Luxe Pack, exhibition specialising on the packaging of luxury goods, which celebrated its 20th edition in October 2007 at Monaco ¡V is therefore looking into the question of event-based and promotional packaging¡K and in June 2008 is launching Pack&Gift at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Park.
Over two days, marketing, communications and sales promotion teams from all sectors will be put in touch with the key players in the realisation of event-based and promotional packaging products.
Pack&Gift will be an opportunity for experts in the trade to present their creative solutions, their specific techniques at each stage in the realisation of promotional packaging (design/production/conditioning).
Pack&Gift: an exhibition long awaited by brand names
More than just a trend, event-based packaging has, for brand names as well as sales outlets, now become an integral marketing, communications and commercial tool, with multiple applications: Standing out from the crowd and showing proof of originality, making it easy to buy gifts, creating the happening with a collector edition, or adapting a product offer to the retail travel market, in short sublimating the product by a little “plus”, source of additional sales, and strengthening the brand’s visibility.
Brand names therefore have a strong need for identifying and optimising their contacts with the participants in this sector which is gradually developing its structure. That is why Idice has created this original exhibition, a tailor-made answer to businesses.
Pack&Gift: an effective exhibition
In order to provide a real and effective answer to the many questions from these sectors, Pack&Gift doesn’t just make do with involving a few specialist manufacturers. Quite the opposite, Pack&Gift aims to bring together 100 exhibitors, providing a solution at each stage in the realisation of event-based packaging.
In this way, the specialists for over-packaging products (Boxes, cases and containers / Bags, ribbons, Gift Paper / Other), samples, finishes and decoration, promotional and gift items, POS advertising, Customised conditioning, not forgetting of course marketing, packaging and advertising agencies, will present their services to visitors, providing complete solutions in the manufacture of event-ased packaging products.
As a niche exhibition – an Idice speciality – Pack&Gift retains a “human” size which guarantees a gain in time for visitors who can thus focus solely on looking for solutions and ideas that fall within their event-based packaging strategy.
For exhibitors, it guarantees high visibility to a defined target.
Pack&Gift will also offer many conferences, round tables, special events which will enable visitors to discover the new solutions available on turnkey packaging products and promotions.
Pack&Gift: a multi-market exhibition
While event-based packaging products are historically linked to the sectors such as cosmetics/perfumes, wines & spirits and chocolates, today they are of interest to increasingly varied areas of business.
In fact, among the potential visitors to Pack&Gift, the organisers are expecting to see representatives from major French and international brand names in the following sectors:
Perfumery/Cosmetics
Department stores
Foodstuffs
Spirits/Liqueurs
Beverages
Tobaccos
Writing implements
Cultural hobbies: books/DVD/CD/Multimedia
Jewellery
Decoration/Table Arts
Ready to wear
Toys
Press
This again is one of the exhibition’s great strengths: a cross-functional offer, guaranteeing to exhibitors an exponential source of contacts¡K and a very wide range of solutions to visitors, in order to give best expression to their creativity with inspiration from other sectors. Because obviously creative ideas are a universal source of inspiration. Pack&Gift therefore offers a complete synthesis of what is available on the market, of the most successful solutions and of trends in event-based packaging, across all sectors.
Pack&Gift: an exhibition right in the heart of Paris
The Porte de Versailles Exhibition Park, in Paris itself, is very easily accessible by all means of transport. Hall 5.1 which will be hosting this event is directly opposite the metro exit and tramway access.
Rendez-vous next 11 and 12 June at the Porte de Versailles for Pack&Gift, the only event that brings together all key participants in the realisation of event-based packaging, for an optimised product strategy.
