SpringCM Appoints Dick Hoffmann as Vice President of Business Development

SpringCM, the leader in on- demand enterprise content management (ECM) solutions, recently appointed Dick Hoffmann as vice president of business development. Hoffmann will report directly to Dan Carmel, CEO at SpringCM, and spearhead all strategic alliances, partner relationships, channel revenue growth and organization of partner programs.
With more than 25 years of strategic and operational business experience, Dick Hoffmann’s background includes a broad range of sales, marketing, business development, channel development and alliance leadership roles with both market-leading and start-up companies. With a central passion anchored in organizational partnering and team collaboration, Hoffmann and his teams have negotiated, developed and managed thousands of channel and alliance relationships across industries, governments and international businesses.
Prior to joining SpringCM, Dick Hoffmann served as co-founder, president and CEO of AllianceVista Corporation headquartered in Raleigh, NC. Hoffmann also served as director of business development at IBM; vice president of alliances at Rapt, Inc.; vice president of worldwide marketing and alliances at Reachcast; and director of global channel sales and strategic alliances at Documentum. Hoffmann also held leadership positions at Informix Software, AST Research and Inacomp Computers. As a thought leader in helping define the professional alliance management discipline, Dick has made active contributions to the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP) since its founding in 1998. He founded the Silicon Valley Chapter of ASAP and served as president of the chapter until 2001. He served on the global board of directors of ASAP from 2000 through 2004, and currently serves on the founding board of the Research Triangle Park Chapter in North Carolina.
