Finch Paper Names Anthony McDowell as VP of Sales and Marketing
Thursday 14. February 2008 - Finch Paper LLC, maker of the Finch Paper brand of uncoated printing papers, has announced the hiring of highly regarded marketer Anthony T. McDowell as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Mr. McDowell, respected throughout the industry for his new product development and branding acumen, will lead the development and execution of integrated sales and marketing programs for Finch Fine text and cover, Finch Opaque and the rapidly growing roster of Finch Digital products.
“We are thrilled to add a manager with Tony’s experience, reputation and accomplishments to our team,” said Chairman, President and CEO Richard J. Carota.
Mr. McDowell joined Finch from Stora Enso North America where, as vice president of branding and marketing communications, he was responsible for product and brand development; positioning and advertising; global messaging alignment; and sustainability communications.
Prior to his tenure with Stora Enso, Mr. McDowell was general manager of HP Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of International Paper Company, which holds the exclusive license to source, market and sell Hewlett-Packard-branded laser printing papers. He has also held senior-level marketing and creative services positions with Champion International in both the United States and Europe, and served as managing partner of an independent marketing and branding consultancy.
