RFMD(R) to Showcase Its Industry-Leading Product Portfolio at The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

Monday 11. February 2008 - RF Micro Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq GS: RFMD), a global leader in the design and manufacture of high- performance radio systems and solutions, today announced that it continues to expand its broad portfolio of products and technologies for the cellular mobile device market in support of its leadership position in cellular RF.

From February 11 to February 14 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, RFMD will showcase its innovative front end solutions for 3G multi-mode handsets and its extensive portfolio of GSM/GPRS and EDGE front ends, including both power amplifiers and transmit modules. WCDMA solutions on display will include a WCDMA transmit solution that integrates two power amplifiers and a front end power management integrated circuit (IC) supporting multi-region, 3G mobile platforms. RFMD will also showcase its portfolio of POLARIS(R) GSM/GPRS/EDGE RF solutions, its RF8000 series of location solutions and its industry-leading wireless LAN front ends for cellular handsets.
