Caldera reaches record turnover for 2007
Monday 28. January 2008 - Caldera Graphics, an award winning software company with 17 years experience in imaging technologies and large format production printing, continued to improve its turnover and earnings with revenue increasing 49% in 2007 .
Caldera significantly expanded its business volumes, with international demand for its products and services expanding to 56 different countries. The french RIP editor concentrated sales and marketing efforts on helping their distribution channels better market the products and give end-user the best support possible.
The companys staff growed from 18 to 23 (plus 4 partner consultants) during 2007, key human ressource additions leading to this sucess included :
– new sales manager for Germany, Switzerland, Benelux and Austria
– new support staff in USA and Asia
– new support staff for Spanish speakers
The Caldera client base grew consistently in 2007 as the company strengthened OEM relationships and signed deals with key LFP players.
In 2008, the company plans to raise its turnover with the introduction of a new product line.
Joseph Mergui, Calderas CEO and President is confident in 2008 : “We are just launching the new Super7 version with many key features for our clients, while already drawing the blueprints of new value-adding innovations that will be launched in the second semester. For us it is vital to predict how the market will evolve rather than reacting to it. This dynamic will be maintained in 2008 as we expect to bring more productivity to our clients large format printing workflow”.
