PRESS-SENSE NAMES PRESIDENT OF THE AMERICAS

Press-sense today named Amir Shaked to the new position of President of Press-sense Inc., responsible for all American business. In his new position, Mr. Shaked will be responsible for all sales, marketing, support, business development and operations activities of the companys Business Flow Automation solutions in the North, Central and South American printing markets. The entire American team, as is, will report to him, and he will report directly to Press-sense CEO Shlomo Ben David as a member of the Press-sense Management Team.

About Amir Shaked
Amir started his career in 1984 as one of the first employees of Comverse Technology, Inc. as a software engineer, and later as director of three of the companys four R&D groups. Amir moved to the US 18 years ago to become Comverse’s first product management director, and then their VP of Business Development in the Americas. He was responsible for initiating and executing Comverse’s OEM-based foray into the wireless and fixed network carrier space, a business unit that currently generates hundreds of millions of dollars annually.
In 1995, Amir became President of Accord North America. Accord achieved 50% market share within three years; it then IPO’ed and was subsequently acquired by Polycom (NASD:PLCM) for $350M. Since 1999, Amir has started and successfully held CEO positions at two start-ups in the field of enterprise and communications software. He joins Press-sense with over 25 years in technical industries and 15 years of executive management experience.
