Sun-NSK at FESPA India’07

FESPA World Expo India’07 held from December 7-9, 2007 at Pragati Maiden Fair Ground, New Delhi, was an important exhibition for sign industry players.

Monday 07. January 2008 - We presented 3 printers: NEO UV-LED on Konica-Minolta printheads, NEO UV-LED on XAAR printheads, and solvent printer DRAKAR (width of printing 3,2) and our Ink Sunflower(solvent Ink, UV-curable Ink).

Now we are leaders in Russia and CIS region market gradually expanding to Europe, Australia, and USA. As for India it was our first exhibition in this country and it’s a new market for SUN. Some problems with transportation lead to the fact that we got our machines in 2 days late and by the first exhibition day they were not ready for printing. Despite this there was a great interest to our printers and Ink and our booth was one of the most attended. We were visited by people from India, Kenya, and China. For us the main aim at exhibition was to take a closer look at Indian market and let customers know about leading LED technology which they can get with SUN. We are looking for distributors in that region to provide not only qualitative equipment but also good service. Now we see that customers want our presence in India and are ready to collaborate. And it is no wonder, because it’s big steadily developing market and there is a huge amount of applications for UV-print. Ever growing demand makes it possible to start up a new business successfully. Hybrid printer with thickness of a material up to 20cm and extra quality of printed images is a very good profitable undertaking. Price and feasibility are also affordable. And besides, it’s convenient for clients to have machines and Ink from 1 supplier. Also as we have own research laboratory our chemists can create ink formula especially for your needs. For example many customers at FESPA India were interested if it’s possible to use NEO UV-LED for textile printing. Yes! Samples had shown it! And forecasts are more than rosy especially as we going to launch new Ink with nanotechnologies and 2 additional colors – Gold and Silver. These colors are popular in India and often used like picturesque elements. But certainly printing on textile is only one example of possible use of UV LED technology… just try printing on plastic, glass, wood and any other materials. It’s fantastic! Also visitors interested in our solvent printer Drakar (XAAR printheads 126/50) – solvent printing is most popular in India.

So now we have a lot of contacts and also negotiations for the distribution of our machines in India.
