Kodak Taps Wigfield to Lead GCG in United States and Canada
Monday 07. January 2008 - Wigfield returns to the US&C after heading GCGs business in the United Kingdom
Kodak named David Wigfield as Managing Director, United States and Canada (US&C), Graphic Communications Group (GCG). Wigfield, who currently leads the GCGs business in the United Kingdom, will report to Andrew Copley, Chief Operations Officer, GCG, and Vice President, Kodak.
In assuming his new role, Wigfield will be responsible for the overall GCG business and financial performance in the US&C. He will also lead all day to day operations, including sales and marketing of the full GCG portfolio, customer service, equipment service, product support and supply chain management.
Wigfield joined Kodak in 2005 with the companys acquisition of Creo, where he was Vice President, Sales, for the Europe, Africa, and the Middle East Region. At Kodak, he headed the companys sales in the same capacity before being named Managing Director, United Kingdom, in 2006.
“Dave will be missed in the U.K., but his return to the U.S. will be good for all of our customers in North America. He is a great manager and leader with an in depth understanding of the graphic arts industry,” Copley said. “Having worked closely with our customers in Europe during the past six years, Dave can bring new thinking and ideas to our customers in the US&C based on best practices in other parts of the world.”
A native of Pennsylvania, Wigfield earned his bachelors from the University of Colorado.
Wigfield succeeds Kevin Joyce, who was named the GCGs Chief Marketing Officer in December.
